Role Purpose

Assists leads and managers of performance improvement and transformation projects in order to accomplish measureable business process improvements. Employs performance improvement and transformation methodology, tools and techniques in organizational operations in order to accomplish business results. Work with quality and process improvement professionals in the planning, designing, and accomplishment of key projects. Directs and coordinates selected departmental staff in the development, implementation and evaluation of education and practice programs that ensure accomplishment of department and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and provides consultation and support to improvement teams, functions and departments related to transformation and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Leads and directs others in accomplishing departmental goals.
  • Monitors clinical outcomes and processes of care. Provides current data and information and develops appropriate reports and documents in a timely manner.
  • Establishes collaborative relationships to facilitate assessment, design, delivery and evaluation of education, practice and process improvement programs.
  • Collaborates with the Department of Research to facilitate integration of research and quality improvement into clinical practice. Identifies problems for research, participates in data collection and recommends areas of investigation.
